BERLIN

We saw the good. We saw the bad. We saw the ugly...

so, here are acouple of pics of our appartment hunt in Berlin.

We probably saw between 15 and 20 appartments. Curiously, many appartments in the same price range differ totally in quality. Also interesting, is that some builkdings are renovated and the building right next to it isn't here are some examples:


I was also surprised to fond that a certain number of buildings still have damage from World War II





































Sooo, our appartment is currently being fully renovated, so the only pictures I have are of the appartment full of tools and stuff, but still.. better than nothing!

Our appartment is small but comfortable, and comes with a built in kitchen. ( Most in Berlin come only with a sink and an oven) We also have a fridge, gas oven and washmachine with it!

We were really lucky to find something like this.. nice floors, 3 meter high ceilings, nice kitchen and renovated...

We will be moving in around October 1st.... probably a couple days earlier.

Now I have to study, I have my big language test on thursday.. So i will be studying like mad this week. Think of me on thursday, this is the exam that lets me study in germany...
